09FAQ

Questions from CX, legal and finance

How does the AI know what to say?

From product and policy information your team approves, plus the shopper's cart, checkout or order. Nothing else.

What if it does not know an answer?

It says so and does not guess. The thread can go to your team, and the exchange stays in the message log.

How do you attribute revenue?

An order counts when traced to a reply, a checkout link click or a code we sent, inside an agreed window. A random slice of shoppers is held back with no messages, and the fee applies to the incremental part.

How does pricing work?

A percentage in the 20s of attributable incremental revenue, set per program in the order form before launch. If nothing sells through a conversation, nothing is owed.

Is this just another SMS sequence?

No. A sequence sends the same messages on a timer. Basket Connect holds a two-way conversation and answers replies.

How much control do we have?

You approve what the AI says, whether offers are allowed and when messages go out. You can read every message.

Which stores is this for?

Shopify and ecommerce teams with enough volume to have approvals, CX and finance reporting. Multi-storefront programs are supported.

How quickly can a program launch?

We scope it with you. Setup is usually short; approvals depend on how fast your team signs off.

How are permissions and messaging compliance handled?

Messages go only to shoppers the store has permission to contact. STOP is honored and quiet hours are respected. Your legal team decides what the store may send.

Do you also make phone calls?

Early access, on request. The AI says it is an AI and ends the call on a wrong number, a stop request or a bad time. Consent for calls is the store's to collect, and do-not-call requests are honored.

What about iMessage and SMS?

Conversations run on iMessage. Where a device cannot receive it, a fallback channel is used.

What can go wrong with a conversational AI talking to our customers?

It could say something you did not approve. The controls prevent that: approved information only, no discounts unless allowed, handoff when it cannot answer, and a log your team can read.
